This Tax & Facilitator Notice explains tax-related roles and responsibilities for marketplace transactions on Qlipps.

1. MARKETPLACE FACILITATOR ROLE
Qlipps provides technology that connects Buyers and Sellers. Except where Qlipps is expressly identified as the seller of record, Sellers are responsible for their Listings and underlying tax obligations.
2. SALES TAX COLLECTION
Where required by law, Qlipps may calculate, collect, and remit applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar transaction taxes using Stripe Tax or comparable services. Tax amounts are displayed at checkout when applicable.
3. SELLER TAX OBLIGATIONS
Sellers are responsible for income taxes, business registrations, and any taxes not collected at checkout. Sellers should consult qualified tax advisors regarding their jurisdictions.
4. INFORMATION REPORTING
Payment processors such as Stripe may issue tax forms (including Form 1099-K in the United States) when reporting thresholds are met. Sellers must maintain accurate tax profile information in Stripe Connect.
